Nargova y Zorgona
I had another great class with the College Kids this morning, the last one. Aimee and I are sneaking into the wine tasting one tomorrow, only for the free alcohol, cheese and crackers. Yum! We have a party at Fat Tuesday's today, but after last night's fiasco, I cannot make myself go. I know I told Helena I would meet her there, but, fuck it, I deserve a nice day in my own company (and if I attended the appointment, I wold lose my reputation as an untrustworthy Peruvian, don't you think? Ooooh no, that CANNOT happen!). I am still pissed off with the phone call episode, and I need some peace and quiet under the Mexican sun. I came across Arnold (the Philippino Monkey) in Chedraui today, who gave me a biiiiiiig hug (ew!), but I also bought my new boxing gloves, and that cheered me up. Yey! I found Kenny zipping from a margarita yard glass by the door of Fat Tuesday when I went back to the ship... what a coincidence! My friend Eduardo got his first poetry book published after winning last year's National Poetry Contest!!! It's about time!!! Hooray, Edu!!! I'm so proud!
